Fabulous, Antique Bronze known as the"DANCING FAUN OF POMPEII" or "Faun Dansant' - the original can be found in the the Museo Nazionale, in Naples, Italy. Late 19th/Very early Century. The bronze has acquired a wonderful rich patina.
Measures about 20 inches high & the base measures about 7 inches x 7 inches.
Toes, toe nails, feet, hands, fingernails, as well as head and hair etc detail is superb .
