Lovely early Victorian pewter tankard, very tactile with good patina.

Flecked style engraved initials of “MNC” on front of tankard.

Decorative scroll handle, sold base and single band around body.

Touch marks – three swords in a shield and the initials I R.

Engraved into base – White Hart Chase Side Southgate.

Stands 5 inches (12.7cms) tall x 3 3/8 inches (8.5cms) across rim.

In lovely original condition, with no repairs, just a few age related dents.
