Airfix Super Flight Deck Vintage Toy 1970s.

Getting rare ‘Super Flight Deck’ by Airfix.

Date – 1975.

Not been used for many, many years.....until today, we have set it up and it works well, however we have noticed the following;

Front wheel on the Phantom aeroplane has been replaced in the past, it’s fixed in place but this does not affect its performance.

The deck catapult elastic had disintegrated, we placed a small elastic band on there to test the mechanism and it all works fine, pulls back smoothly and locks into place and releases.

One of the lugs on the clip that holds the spool into place on the handle is missing, but to be honest this doesn’t really matter as it locks up ok.

Condition – a bit of wear around the edges and box is on the tatty side but it’s a rare survivor........I got one of these for Christmas in the mid seventies and it was wrecked and in the bin by Easter!
