Good sized Motto Ware Vase.
Decorated around the base with a cottage and country scene, and inscribed with the following:
Ingleton.
A pound of pluck is
worth a ton of luck.
Stands 8 inches (20.3cms) tall x 3 5/8 inches (9.3cms) diameter across the base x approx 4 ¼ inches (10.8cms) across the rim.
Pottery makers mark to base, but we cannot work out who it is.
Condition – lovely, with no damage or restoration.
