These are delightful!!

Pair of salt and pepper pots in the forms of a Dutch boy and girl fruit sellers.

The salt and pepper pots are actually part of the baskets and lift out separately.

Date – 1930s.

Both clearly marked on the base ‘MADE IN JAPAN’ and also have a set of Japanese character marks.

Both stand around 4 inches (10.2cms) tall.

Condition – absolutely lovely, we can find no damage (chips and cracks) whatsoever. The pots have long lost their little cork stoppers, but to be honest this little pair look better on display in a cabinet than filled up with stuff sitting on table.
