Three vintage head gasket seal bars.
Bar’seal....head gasket seal.....stops water leaks.
Would have been purchased back in the day when your Morris Minor, Triumph Herald, Austin Cambridge etc etc started losing coolant. Bung one in the radiator and job done......if you were lucky it worked, if you weren’t it clogged the heater matrix and you also had to repair the original source of the leak!
Definitely wouldn’t use these, but they are a great relic from the past and good vintage advertising pieces.
Date – got to be late 1960s/early 1970s.
Each box measures 7.7cms x 3.2cms x 2.4cms.
Condition – pretty good, little bit grubby and one box is tatty.
