Nice studio pottery cup and saucer.
Rainham Pottery (basically an offshoot of Upchurch Pottery).
Personalised on the cup with the name ‘Beryl’.
Impressed ‘Rainham’ mark to base of saucer, painted initials of ‘WN’ to the base of the cup, probably the maker/designer.
Date – we reckon 1950s/1960s.
Colour - Dark blue and white.
Measurements (approx) – cup 8cms tall x 7.5cms diameter. Saucer diameter 13.5cms.
Condition – really nice and bright, no damage or restoration. If we were being picky.......we would say some light crazing to the glaze as you would expect.
