One matched pair of old Gaucho wooden stirrups.
South American......possibly from Chile....Argentina....or Peru.
Difficult to date, we reckon late 1800s.
Hand carved wood with wrought iron inlaid band that encircles the centre of each stirrup.
Still retain their original straps.
Each measure approx (excluding leather straps) 21cms long x 12.5cms wide x 13cms tall.
Condition – for their age and use they are in remarkable order, knocks, chips and bumps here and there, but display very well.
