Little Red Riding Hood.
Could be Staffordshire, but we feel these are most likely to be continental and probably Fairings.
Date – difficult to date.....could be late Victorian/early Edwardian, then again could be as late as the 1950s.
Model number 251.
Each stands 6 inches tall.
Depicts Little Red Riding Hood standing holding her shawl under her chin, basket on her left arm and the wolf laying behind her under her dress.
Condition – both nice with no chips or restoration. Colours are pretty good but we feel her red hood/shawl is definitely not as red as it should be. Some wear to the back of one of their heads – see pictures.
